Life is a handful of colored pebbles ( Elder Justin Pārvu, )
Motto:
Every day, every week, every month and every year of our life are treasures that we loose without reflecting much at, but once we have lost them, it is impossible to bring them back.
Death is neither an end nor a beginning but rather a veil, a wall dividing this earthly life from the eternal. Those who are spiritually dead, who have not cared for their souls on earth shall pass from their current death into the everlasting, or the eternal torment of hell; may the Good Lord saves us from…
But those who were a living soul, keeping lit the candle of faith, will walk through the bodily death into life-eternal, the heavenly bliss.
A man once found a bag of colorful pebbles on the shore of a river. He took it and in his way home, he began to throw the stones one by one into the water and at the birds of the air, amusing himself. When the bag had only two or three pebbles left, which he was going to throw also, he met with a neighbor who looked at the stones and said: “- Where did you find these stones, because they are very precious.” Upon learning this, our man run desperately to look back, but it was hard to find any of them.
Such is what we do with the days of our life. Every day, every week, every month and every year of our life are treasures that we loose without reflecting much at, and once we have lost them, it is impossible to bring them back.
